Granville Market

I love Vancouver and one of my favorite places is Granville Market.  There is fresh fruit, meats, breads, juices, prepared foods, cheeses, chocolates, coffee, ice cream and so much more.  Inside and outside the market are performers.  Music always being performed as well as so many other talented people entertaining us for tips.  If you come to Vancouver the one place most everyone goes is Granville Market.  There is an energy there like no where else.  This place is fun if you are happy or sad.  If you are sad it will make you happy just to be there.  You can sit outside by the water watching the boats pass you by and children running around, music playing, people eating all sorts of prepared food.  What can I say other  than this..... Did I mention that  I love this Place!

Thank you Abe Zimmerman, my husband, for introducing me to Vancouver.  It is my second home and besides Austin, Texas, it is where my heart is.

Adventure

looking out the window from the Ferry.  I now wish I had taken a picture of the Ferry but we had reclining seats inside the ferry or you can sit or stand outside.  You can pay extra for a small cabin with a bed.  We paid extra for the reclining seats which were nice.

Once we were in Prince Rupert you can see the picture I posted shows it is 26 miles to the Alaska border!
